Alindanaw

Pretty dragonfly.

One of those timely moments. A beautiful glowing fuschia alindanaw (in Bisaya). It hanged on to the stalk for a little while before it flew away. I caught a lot of these insects way back in my childhood days. We’d tie a thread around it’s barrel behind and pretend it was a tiny kite! Insect cruelty? Nah, we always released it after. But unfortunately some didn’t make it. RIP †
